It’s murder putting on a new musical – literally! The star of a new Broadway-bound musical has been murdered on stage on opening night! The entire cast and crew are suspects. Time to call in the local detective, Frank Cioffi. With a nose for crime and an ear for music, Frank tries to find the killer whilst giving the show a lifeline. Starring Jason Manford, Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba, Carley Stenson, Rebecca Lock, Samuel Holmes, Leah West and Alan Burkitt, this hilarious whodunnit is packed full of catchy songs, unforgettable characters and plot twists galore! From creators of Cabaret and Chicago, this Tony award-winning backstage murder mystery musical will have audiences laughing and guessing right to the final curtain. This critically acclaimed production, directed by Paul Foster and choreographed by Alistair David toured the UK from October 2019 to March 2020 and played a limited run in London’s West End at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
Paul Taylor Mills said today, 'A few weeks ago I woke up and like many, felt so helpless as I heard stories of those within the theatre community struggle. I threw caution to the wind and set up a fund with a primary ambition to get funds to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. So far, we have allocated over £50,000 to those who are in need.
Thanks to DLAP Entertainment you can now watch their production of Curtains and know that all of the profits will be going to the Funds For Freelancers cause. I'm so grateful to them for doing this and that I'll get to see this show! I'm always overwhelmed by the resilience of the theatre community and truly humbled that the streaming of this show will help so many people at a time that they need it most.’
