Launched in 1985 by Mehmet Ali Birand,it is Turkey's longest-running and one of the most influential news programs.The show was originally aired on state-owned TRT 1 (1985–1992), then moved on to private television channels.
Over the years the show has given the opportunity for Turkey’s best journalists. The show aired over 30 seasons making it the most-watched and longest-running news show in Turkey.
